3. For experienced authors with clear artistic concept it makes possible to hold valuable discussion with a chosen expert in a narrow field
 
4. Photographers who wish to assert themselves on the international scene are offered the possibility of presenting their work (and leaving their CDs) for the world-wide renowned gallerists,  curators, critics,
editors, professors and festival directors, who are coming to Portfolio review to discover new talents
 
5. All participants are enabled to make closer acquaintance with charismatic personalities, who shape the development of contemporary photography and to stay in touch with them after the event's ending
 
6. Authors with the most interesting portfolios (according to SEDF) are given the chance to rank among the top twenty and become part of the closing projection intended for the public
 
7. The winner of the best portfolio contest (according to consultants)  is given the unique possibility of an author's exhibition at the next year's Month of Photography
 
8. In a pleasant space with refreshments, all participants are given the opportunity to confront their portfolios, exchange opinions and obtain further responses to their work

Sending CD with their portfolio those interested to participate via communication with the organizers of Portfolio Review are provided with precious details, concerning the previous years as well as  the  present festival (programme, accommodation etc.) and automatically are included in the database of Imago magazine
 
10. Participants willing on the web page of SEDF to share their opinion regarding the benefit of Portfolio Review for their artistic path are enabled to establish their own link
